Webcar Smart Protection Plan

The complimentary four-year Webcar Smart Protection Plan is designed to provide you with added value.

This plan will be a once-off reimbursement to the value of up to $2,000.

The Webcar Smart Protection Plan will repair the parts covered if the vehicle is serviced by Melville Volkswagen. The claim limit increases each year as per the below table. The total claim limit for the four-year period is a maximum of $2000.

Have peace of mind knowing that you're covered 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Australia Wide.

After the first year, the Plan will upgrade to include the additional benefits of the Platinum Extras Cover. To be eligible, you must service your vehicle at Melville Volkswagen within 12 months of purchasing your vehicle.

Fixed Price Servicing

Vehicles with a SmartProtect plan and still in New Car Manufacturer Warranty

All services during the new car warranty period must be performed by Melville Volkswagen to uphold the extended warranty (SmartProtect)

Whilst the vehicle is under New Car Manufacturer’s warranty; it is recommended that the vehicle is serviced in accordance with the specifications set out in the owner’s manual, at prevailing rates, until the manufacturer warranty expires.

When the manufacturer’s warranty has expired; the Smart Protect Warranty starts; this is when the fixed price servicing plan starts.

Vehicles with SmartProtect Plan Only

All IDOM customers with a SmartProtect product must service their vehicle within the timeline/mileage age set by the manufacturer’s service requirements. All services performed will be eligible for the fixed price servicing plan.

Pricing: $249 – Passenger Vehicles | $299 – Commercial Vehicles

All services must be performed by an IDOM Dealership in WA.

• Engine Oil Change (up to 5L of non-synthetic motor oil)

• Replace Oil Filter

• Inspect condition and pressure of all tyres including the spare

• Check front and rear brake material for excessive wear

• Check operation of hand brake

• Check and report on battery condition

• Inspect cooling system and glycol concentrate

• Check steering and all suspension components

• Check the condition of all fluids and top up as required

• Check for fluid leaks

• Inspect external drive belts

• Check condition of air filter

• Check condition of air conditioner pollen filter

• Check operation of all lights

• Test windscreen wiper operation and inspect wiper blades

• Complete visual inspection of undercarriage

• Conduct a road test
